In the first activities of El.Ma. highly automated machines for high speed working of non-metallic materials, such as wood, were very important.

 

This robot is used in order to optimize the surface quality of wood panels, eliminating defects (wood knots) and depositing some plaster made of epoxidic resin.

 

The robot is automatically managed by a numerical control; defect recognition is done with a vision system.
